Most projects start with a one-week paid discovery — we dig into the problem, talk to whoever will end up using the thing, and produce a written scope with a fixed price. From there we build in two-week increments, with working software at the end of each one.
No, and on purpose. We're a small studio — design, engineering and infrastructure under one roof. For things outside our wheelhouse (paid media buying, copywriting at scale, legal) we'll happily refer you to people we trust.
Fixed-fee for project work whenever the scope is clear enough to commit to. Monthly retainers for ongoing maintenance and improvements. Hourly only as a last resort, because nobody enjoys being billed for thinking.
Yes, and we do it often. We'll start with a code audit and a candid conversation about what's salvageable, what isn't, and what the cheapest path forward looks like. We won't sugarcoat the diagnosis.
Yes. We're based in Sunrise but most of our work is remote. We've worked with clients across the US, Canada and the UK. If your timezone overlaps with ours by a few hours, we can make it work.
Discovery wraps in a week. The first usable slice of working software is typically in your hands within three to four weeks. We don't disappear for six months and reveal a thing.
Yes. We can host, monitor and maintain anything we build, on infrastructure we choose for resilience rather than novelty. Some of the things we built in 2014 are still running on the same servers — we like that to keep being true.
You walk out with the keys. All code lives in your version control account, all infrastructure on your accounts, all documentation in writing. The relationship is the value — the lock-in is not.
